What’s Fixed:

·         64573    DAgent x64 can trans-code UTF-8 inventory strings to ANSI

·         65208    DAgent File Version may not be found on improperly compiled files

·         66297    MCEScan may not produce current patch status

·         70071    MCEScan may not download the correct wsusscn2.cab when modified

·         70335    DAgent doesn't allow OSPacks to cache on proxies

·         72284    MCEScan may not communicate through an authenticated proxy

·         73104    ENVPrep cannot delete registry keys on Windows 2008 x64

·         73105    ENVPrep is not installed to the correct location on Windows 2008 x64

·         73106    MCEScan may read the wrong registry settings on Windows 2008 x64

Installation Notes

The installers will upgrade Agent version 6.0 to 6.4.0.420
The Device Installers page is changed to reflect a new naming convention to help find the correct installer
Starting with this release the Windows Agent 6.4.0.420 or higher will no longer support Windows 98 SE or Windows NT, all other Operating System support is unchanged.

Known Issues

An error may be encountered stating the following:

This may occur if a server configuration is incorrect. To correct this issue:

1. Open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
2. Drill down to the UpdateStorage virtual directory in the PatchLink Update Server website.
3. Right click and choose Properties on the 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 directory.
4. Under the HTTP Headers tab, place a check in the box for Enable content expiration and click OK.
5. Right click and choose Properties on the OSPacks directory.
6. Under the HTTP Headers tab, place a check in the box for Enable content expiration and click OK.
7. Re-run the PatchLink Update Agent 6.4 SP2 installer to properly apply the patch.
