The Article Attachments section below contains SQL scripts that can be used to remove old data from your Channel database. There are two scripts: one to purge task results that are older than one year, and one to purge admin action logs that are older than one year. After running the scripts, you can then shrink your database using information in the Word document in the Article Attachments section.
If you don't have access to SQL Enterprise Manager to perform these tasks, you will have to download and install the free utility SQL 2005 Management Studio Express. This will give you an easy-to-use interface for performating the tasks. The Related External Links section below has a link to the download for this utility.
IMPORTANT: Before running any of the scripts, be sure to make a backup of your Channel database(s) first.
