Server Error on Vulnerabilities and Devices Tab of Prism Patch Manager



The information in this article applies to Prism Patch Manager version 6.4


After installing Prism Patch Manager 6.4, you may get the following error when you open either the Vulnerabilites or Devices tab within the Patch Manager Console:

Server Error in '/' Application.

This is caused by incomplete configuration of ASP.NET on the server. To fix the problem, open Control Panel/Add Remove Programs, then click on Add/Remove Windows Components on the left-hand side. The screenshots below show the ASP.NET box you have to check in the Application Server component.
