| Several months ago I started setting up a new server to migrate from Prism 5 to Prism 6. Used an existing SQL Server instead of MSDE. Well, since its been so long, I wanted to start from scratch. I deleted the channels, ran a reinstall, then tried to run the import utility again. It locked up. Now I seem to be stuck in limbo land. I can't uninstall, modify or repair my existing Prism installation. It either locks up, or tells me it can't locate or login to sql server or db. I know the password is correct, I used it ten minutes before. I think its looking for the databases, which have been removed from the SQL Server. I can launch the console, but it won't connect to anything. help!!!!!!! thanks |

| New Boundary Support worked with this customer offline to uninstall version 6.0.1. There is a registry tweak for version 6.0.1 only that made it possible to bypass database cleanup: HKLM\Software\Lanovation\Prism Deploy\Installation\\Bypass Database Cleanup (REG_DWORD) = 1
