Hello

have found a problem with installing packages on Windows 7 32 and 64 bit. A lot of Microsoft applications are writing files and entrys in restricted system areas under the TrustedInstaller Service. When a Package tries to install in this areas too, it is stopped in cause of the permissions of the given admin install account in the task.

Would be a great feature when it could be possible to use the Trusted Installer Service too for generating a package and deploying it.

Think this need has everyone who tries to generate and install microsoft packages done by PrismDeploy.

Thanks rrast

This is something that New Boundary Technologies is looking into for adding to how it packages applications.  This won't be a definite feature but it is being discussed.

At this time when we come across applications that seem to have strict permissions on their files/registry keys we suggest using the command task method to install those applications.
