| Hi all,
I have been trying to get a package working for Flash Player 10 using IE8, I have one for Firefox that works fine, and I do try creating a package using downloads from a redistributable license installation.
The weird thing is that when i test a package it does install however if you go to a site, say youtube for instance it tells me that it is not installed. Am I missing something or not looking at it right? I'm hoping someone has some insight that maybe im just overlooking.
Thanks |

| Since you have the redistributable, have you tried running it as a command task instead of a package task? This may help it install on the clients more seamlessly and hopefully clear up the issue you are noticing.

| | no, that didnt seem to help. It does install on the target machine but when you access a site that uses flash it prompts me to download flash. |

| | Hey, I've done some testing and so far things have been going really well. I've pushed my command line onto an XP client and it installed fine and i get no prompts on youtube asking to install flash. My command task looks like this. Command line: msiexec.exe Command Options: /quiet /package \\server\share\flash10.msi If you continue to fail the install you can attmept to try an unattended install using the local system account
