| | We are currently using Deploy 6 in an Active Directory environment. The deploy icon will not appear in the systray of computers that are running the MS Lightly Managed group policy (Machine and User). The deploy client has been successfully installed and the following processes are running under the user name of system; channeldeploy.sys, prismxl.sys and PTclient.exe. The users that are logged into the computers are local administrators. We have sucessfully deployed software to any computers that not under the control of the Lightly Managed (Machine) group policy, on these computers the icon is visable. |

| | You did mention that the software was successfully deloyed to the computers that are NOT "Lightly Managed". However, you did not mentioned anything about deploying software to the 'Lightly Managed computer". OR did you mean that you also tried deploying the software to the "lightly managed computers" but the software was not installed?

| | We re-tested your scenario in our lab and found out that you would have to "DISABLE" the " Do Not Process the Legacy run list" option under the "Lightly Managed" Group policy. It is located at Computer Configuration\Administrative Templete\Systems\Logon

| | We disabled the "Do not Process the Legacy run list" and are now able to successfully deploy software to the computers that are effected by the "Lightly Managed " group policy. Thank you for your help! |
