| When attempting to run the PDConsole.exe, which is located on a remote server, from a workstation, I received an error message when trying to find the channel server. The error message was "A timeout occurred attempting to communicate with the server". The workstation and the server have network connectivity. I uninstalled Prism Deploy from the server and then reinstalled it, but this did not help. Any suggestions are appreciated.

| | When you have the dialog box open that lets you select the Channel you're trying to open, highlight the Channel name and choose "Settings." Go to the Connection tab. Make sure the port you are using is the one the Prism Server is using (3133 is the default, it is rare that Prism is installed using a different port). If your Channel is extremely busy, it is possible that you will have to increase the Time Out value to something longer than the default 20 seconds. Let us know if either one of these suggestions solves the problem.
