I am using the remote desktop and I can not figure out how to send the Control alt delete command to the remote computer.

I do not see anything in the help quide about this command.

Is it available and if so how do I do it?

Thanks

boomerman

You could modify the ExternalToolsConfig.ini to have another app in the [SingleComputerApps] section. For example, on XP systems you can use the shutdown command. Within the Prism Console go to Tools|Edit Tools Menu. Here's an example of the syntax:

Shutdown=shutdown -r -f -m \\%computername% -t 20

After saving the change, close and reopen the Console.

Here's a link to the Microsoft page that explains the complete syntax:

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/shutdown.mspx?mfr=true
