Running the SIF as an administrator should ensure that it gets upgraded properly.

Is there an old copy of the Package Editor installed on that machine? Perhaps that engine is running the SIF, but doesn't understand a newer version SIF. Try upgrading the Package Editor if that is the case.

Corrupt Self-Install File

Any ideas how to resolve this error?
