Query and Validation best practices

I appear to be having trouble with querying several computers at one time the response time has increased from a few minutes to not showing results even a half hour later. Also the patch validation does not function at all. Is there any way to reset the application and clear previous queries and validation request?

Credentials Asked Multiple Times

On a newly built machine when I do a "Install Required", why do I have to put in credentials 3 times before it begins? Shouldn't the Agent user options submit the credentials I entered in the global defaults?

Is there a way to eliminate me having to type these credentials in?

Is there a way to run an "Install Required" from the command line or have Prism Deploy force a new computer to install all patches?

Installing patches that require reboot

When installing an update or patch that requires a reboot, is it possible that when you push out the patch you can tell the machine not to reboot? For example, when pushing out IE 6.0 that requires a reboot. I would like to be able to push it out during the day and not have to worry about the machine rebooting in the middle of someone's work. Any suggestions?
