Our installer doesn't have the capability to roll back changes made to the Prism Server/Databases. We would recommend backing up the Prism Database prior to any upgrade, this way you could restore the backup of the database and at least be "database wise" at the previous version you were at.

However you would also need to have the setup files for the previous version of Prism you were at, so you could reinstall that particular version.

If you do feel you do need to downgrade for any reason, the backup of the database prior to the upgrade will be needed.

So I assume the same procedure (repair) can be used to downgrade to a previous minor version if one encounters problem? Just run the old installer and select repair?

The installation program only looks at the major and minor version numbers when trying to determine wether an upgrade needs to be run. So 10.5.0.65 looks the same 10.5.0.86 to the installer.

In this case, choose Repair to complete the upgrade.

Hello,

I am trying to upgrade from
10.5.0.65
MD5 of setup.exe 87153c5692e0701775df92c33ccdaead
size: 91 320 296 bytes

to
10.5.0.86
MD5 of setup.exe 2efb6e13c9c8bfef028309d1991d45a1
size: 91 369 472 bytes

When I run the latest setup.exe on the server I get the "modify/repair/uninstall" dialogue.
Is this correct? How should the upgrade be installed?
