Prism Asset Manager uses a Prism Software Identification Database (PSID) that recognizes more than 120,000 commercial software products. By comparing software inventory scans with the information in the PSID, Prism Asset Manager is able to identify which and how many “license units” are installed within your computing environment.

New Boundary Technologies updates the PSID every month to ensure the most comprehensive discovery of software assets. If you are a licensed Prism Asset Manager customer with an active maintenance agreement, you are entitled to receive these monthly updates. Just complete the form below to access the download page. You can find your serial number in the About dialogue in the Prism Console.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Beginning September 2009, Prism Asset Manager will use a new version of the PSID that is not compatible with Prism Asset Manager 8.x and earlier versions.
